What is our Foundation?

Man is great not by what he has, but by who he is;
not by what he has, but by what he shares with others.
                                                                                                                                                    St. John Paul II

We have been operating since 2020, when the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth, Kraków Province , called us into action.

Our mission is to care for people from conception to natural death.

We take action to protect families and every person, especially those in crisis.

We conduct care, intervention, educational, upbringing, and adaptation activities.

We work in cooperation with church entities, social institutions, entrepreneurs, and private individuals who want to get involved in helping families.

We thank everyone who supports us and contributes to building "Haven in Nazareth." Thanks to your generosity of heart, those in need can find a HOME that is a safe haven…

We want to reach a growing number of people: children, young people, families, the elderly, and people with disabilities. Your support will greatly help us achieve this mission. If you would like to support us financially, please donate to the Foundation's account.

Cooperation Agreement

June 10, 2025

Since April, we have been working with the Social Welfare Home in Wadowice, which supports 70 girls and women with intellectual disabilities through care, therapy, and cultural development. We aim to help modernize facilities, support cultural and integration events, and organize recreation and trips.

In May, we also began cooperating with the Holy Family Social Welfare Home in Wrocław, which provides 24-hour care for elderly women. With the dedication of nurses, caregivers, and the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth, residents receive medical support, therapy, and daily care in an atmosphere of trust and closeness.

Mother and Child Home 2024

March 3, 2025

A highlight of the year was the completion of the sports and recreation hall at the U Matusi house, carried out together with the Bank of Good Hearts Foundation and supported by generous individual donors. This space has already become a place of activity, integration, and joy for our residents.

Throughout the year, we built strong partnerships with many organizations, including the PCPR in Nowy Targ, the Parish Priest of St. Teresa in Rabka-Zdrój, the Golden Spark Foundation in Sosnowiec, the Little Feet Foundation in Szczecin, the Knights of Columbus in Krakow, the Men of St. Joseph in Libiąż, the Warriors of Mary in Krakow and Rabka-Zdrój, and the Women’s Community "At the Heart Level" in Skomielna Czarna. Together, we created initiatives that combined care, community, and faith.

We are deeply grateful for the trust and support of all who accompanied us in 2024. Your presence and generosity made it possible for us to continue our mission—bringing safety, dignity, and hope to mothers, children, and families in need.

Coaching 2024

February 10, 2025

In 2024, our coaching services provided support to three married couples through 28 sessions, along with 25 individual sessions. In addition, 39 married individuals and four single individuals received spiritual guidance. All sessions were led by Sister Elżbieta Kuczmarska – coach, whose sensitivity, patience, and empathetic presence helped participants find new motivation, strength, and joy.

One participant shared a powerful testimony, describing the coaching journey as a process of rebirth. They highlighted how Sister Elżbieta’s ability to listen, wait, and ask meaningful questions opened the door to deep self-discovery, joy in writing and reflecting, and greater awareness of God’s gifts in their life. They compared the experience to moving “from the first contractions, through labor pains, to new birth,” and described Sister Elżbieta’s role as that of a midwife of the soul.

These sessions not only provide practical tools but also awaken a renewed sense of inner beauty, dignity, and confidence—helping people live to their fullest potential and embrace life with gratitude and strength.

Christmas wishes

December 24, 2024

On this special occasion, as we gaze upon the Newborn, we wish for the closeness of the One who became Emmanuel for us—God with us. May we welcome Him into our hearts and open ourselves to His love, peace, gentleness, and the salvation He offers us.

May our families and homes become spaces where Jesus, the Word made flesh, dwells among us. May you have a blessed, hopeful, joyful, and family-filled Christmas, and an abundance of God's graces in the New Year 2025.

On behalf of the "Haven in Nazareth" Foundation

wishes:

About us

Our main goal is pretty straightforward. Helping people find their strength again. You know, that sense of dignity and inner power everyone should have access to. We work with folks dealing with relationship issues, personal growth blocks, or just life throwing curveballs at them. Doesn’t matter if they come alone, as couples, or whole families. We give them space to breathe, process stuff, and start fresh.

The approach mixes professional coaching with spiritual stuff and actual care that comes from the heart. Here’s the thing – every person’s got these innate gifts inside them. God-given talents and potential sometimes buried under daily grind or tough breaks. Through sessions and workshops and just being there when needed, we help dig those treasures out. Show people how to live more balanced lives with actual resilience and joy mixed in.

Sister Elżbieta Kuczmarska leads things here. She’s a coach who puts empathy and patience front and center. The whole idea isn’t about slapping Band-Aid fixes on problems. It’s more like walking alongside someone mile after mile through their personal journey. Whether it’s one-on-one talks, marriage support sessions, or group activities, we build environments where trust feels natural. Places where healing can happen organically and motivation gets reignited.

But it’s not just about individual work either. We’re big on creating communities that actually support each other. Partnering with local groups faith-based organizations families whatever makes sense to blend cultural stuff educational angles and spiritual growth into real-world initiatives.

At its core this work isn’t just some service we provide. Feels more like a calling honestly. Every time someone turns their life around finds joy again takes steps toward healing it reinforces what we believe in deeply Proper care mixed with faith and solid support systems can lead people to genuine transformation Living life fully tapped into their potential no holds barred

What we do

a close up of a person holding the hand of a person
a close up of a person holding the hand of a person

We help people get through life's tough spots. Individuals, couples, families come to us when things feel heavy. Our approach mixes professional support with genuine care. Compassion drives everything we do here. Folks leave feeling heard and stronger than before.

Coaching for personal growth happens one-on-one or with partners. Sessions focus on unlocking what's already inside you. We listen first, then ask questions that make people think differently about their situation. Resilience tools get tailored to each person's needs because cookie-cutter advice doesn't stick long-term.

Marriage and family stuff gets tricky fast but doesn't have to stay that way we've found through workshops and private sessions designed for real relationships not textbook examples couples learn how to talk without fighting parents figure out better ways to connect with kids even when everyone's stressed there's no magic fix but practical steps help most times.

Spiritual stuff matters whether someone's deeply faithful or just curious about bigger questions we meet people where they're at prayer might happen reflection exercises sometimes people just need quiet space to sort through life events our role here isn't to preach but walk alongside whatever journey they're on community partnerships let us reach further than any single group could alone we team up with churches local orgs whoever shares the vision of bringing neighbors together events range from practical skill-building workshops to simple meals where connections form naturally.

Transformation looks different for everyone but shows up in small moments mostly a person realizing they're tougher than they thought a couple laughing together after months of tension neighbors swapping phone numbers after volunteering side by side we don't manufacture breakthroughs just create spaces where they can happen when you give people solid tools and real listening most figure out their own path forward physically emotionally spiritually they find ways to thrive that fit their actual lives not some ideal version of how things should be everything circles back to that core idea give support then step back as strength grows from within.

Our Mission

Our main thing is bringing strength and hope to people dealing with tough situations in their personal lives or relationships. The idea is everyone’s got something special inside them, you know. God-given talents that can really blossom if someone helps nurture them properly.

We stick to three big principles here. Compassion comes first. Meeting people exactly where they’re at emotionally, no judgment involved. Creating spaces where folks feel safe enough to open up about whatever’s weighing them down.

Growth matters too. Helping people figure themselves out through coaching and spiritual stuff. Teaching practical ways to build resilience and find more balance day to day.

Then there’s community work. Building real connections based on trust and shared faith. We don’t just focus on individuals—couples, families and whole neighborhoods are part of this too. We believe working together creates actual lasting change.

It’s not about handing out quick fixes but giving people tools to help themselves long-term. Whether that’s private coaching sessions or marriage workshops or teaming up with local groups. The goal stays the same—helping folks thrive in every part of life.

Every single interaction we have gets approached with total commitment and care from our team. Keeping things honest while trying to bring some light into people’s situations however we can. That’s the heart of what we do every day here really.

Documents

Trust matters here. Being open is how we roll around this place. We figure people backing us up or working with us deserve to see behind the curtain. That means keeping all our official papers sorted and ready for anyone to check out.

These documents aren't just legal mumbo jumbo. They show how we actually do things day to day. How money moves around. How projects get off the ground without losing sight of what really counts.

We've got these reports and policies laying around for good reason. Shows we're serious about playing fair and square with everyone involved in our programs and community meetups. Paperwork might sound boring but here's the thing—it's proof we're not cutting corners.

Making everything easy to access helps keep relationships strong between us and the folks we team up with or help out. At the end of the day it comes down to one simple idea—you should never have to wonder where things stand when you're part of what we're building together here.
